How do you demonstrate alignment with a company's core safety mission, even when your role is not directly related to safety?

All the questions are already online. My learning is you gotta emphasize on the top safety issues enough, they want authentic belief in the catastrophic safety areas. Your role may not really be relevant to safety, but you have to show your alignment with this mission exactly and strongly. I shared a non-catastrophic safety area I personally care about when asked, it is authentic and valid, but didn't match their mission and subsequent interviews are cancelled.
